FED:Henson photos likened to child porn

Photographer BILL HENSON'S controversial images of under-age girls have been likened
to child pornography at a Senate hearing.

Campaigners against the sexual exploitation of children want content ratings applied to art.

They've given evidence today to a Senate legal affairs committee .. charged with investigating
Australia's film and literature classification codes.

MELINDA TANKARD REIST .. a co-founder of Collective Shout .. has cited a HENSON image
of a naked under-age girl .. saying if the image was shown in any other place it would
be considered illegal and somebody could probably be charged.

Ms REIST has called on the classification board to act .. alleging that paedophiles
have bought HENSON'S images for their collections.
