NT: US serviceman admitted sex with sister of rape victim: court
A court's been told a US serviceman admitted he had sex with the sister of a woman
he's accused of raping during a R and R visit to Darwin.
But police have told the court the man denies he had sex with the 23-year-old alleged victim.
The serviceman, from the USS Peleliu, is facing a committal hearing in Darwin Magistrates
Court charged with sexual intercourse without consent.
The prosecution alleges the woman was raped after going to a city hotel with some US
servicemen and her sister on February the 6th.
They allege the woman did not consent and was incapable of consenting because she was
so intoxicated.
The committal hearing continues tomorrow.
